Life is beautiful by Roberto Benigni

One movie a day

Life is beautiful by Roberto Benigni

Italy, 1939. Guido is a young Jewish with a great sense of humor. He lives with Dora, his wife, and their son Joshua. They lived happily despite the growing anti-Semitism until being brought by force in a concentration camp. To preserve his child's soul, Guido tries to protect Joshua by turning the situation into a game...

Deliverer

This film is not an ordinary war movie. While some can take umbrage because he dares to laugh about such a serious subject as the Holocaust, others like me will see sincerity and goodwill. Benigni is masterful in this role of a sad clown.
