Susie is a young 14 year old girl like any others until her assassination by a neighbor in a corn field. After that, she ends up in a sort of paradise where she can see and comment what's happening on Earth to her family.

Adapted from the eponymous novel by Alice Sebold, The Lovely Bones is a delight for the eyes and ears. The actors are excellent and Saoirse Ronan already shows her talent. Some have criticized the film because of its "dispersed" side. But on the contrary this is to my view one of the strong points that give charm to the movie. Sometimes dramatic, sometimes science-fiction, sometimes comedy, abandon your logic and left yourself go.
