why I loved it !
Sunshine was a movie that I listed as an instant classic in the sci fi genre as soon as I left the cinema. Danny Boyle and his cast did a great job at delivering a realistic feel to this movie. You'll soon find out that the brighter the image is and the closer you'll get to the sun the more perilous the journey gets. In this movie the light becomes a sign to fear, a sign that you are near something that will endanger your life. It's this contrast compared to any other film that usually use darkness to inspire fear that got me to enjoy this movie so much. Add to that the brilliant original soundtrack by John Murphy and you'll get this masterpiece.
